About Us

Who We Are
The Nyejaani Community Association (NCA) was established to serve as a platform for development, unity, and social progress for the Nyejaani people. Legally recognized by both regional and local governments, NCA operates across the territories where the Nyejaani community resides within Gambella Regional State.
Our Legal Status
  • NCA is officially recognized by the Gambella People’s National Regional State (GPNRS) and local governments, allowing it to function independently with its own seal and symbols — the joined hands, representing cooperation, shared ideas, and collective progress.

Backbround

The Nyejaani Community Association (NCA) is a non-political, community-based organization dedicated to promoting peace, development, and social harmony among the Nyejaani people and neighboring communities in the Gambella Regional State of Ethiopia. The Nyejaani people are composed of several distinct communities, each contributing to the collective identity and strength of the group. These communities, including Cienul, Ciejueny, Cieroa, Ciemanyabie, Ciemanlueth, Ciebol, Cietel, Ciemanchapen, Ciepinyien, Ciedung, Cieyoal, Ciemanjiong, Ciebajuak, Ciedup, Ciemutkang, and Cieleny, all play a vital role in preserving the rich traditions, values, and social fabric of the Nyejaani people. While each community maintains its own unique characteristics and cultural heritage, they all work together toward the common goals of fostering peace, promoting sustainable development, and enhancing the well-being of their community. Through the efforts of the NCA, these diverse communities continue to uphold their shared vision of unity, cooperation, and progress.
